Only your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage, under the name coral-theme. It is not sent to us; you can remove it any time by clearing your browser's site data.

The merc4n app (app.merc4n.com)

When you sign in, only two cookies strictly needed for the session are used:

• __Host-coral_challenge: between the password step and the e-mail code step, at most 10 minutes.
• __Host-coral_session: your session; at most 24 hours, and it ends after 1 hour without use.

Both are sent only to the app's own address, cannot be read by scripts on the page and are not sent with requests coming from other sites. No advertising or analytics cookies are used. The app also keeps your theme choice and some display preferences in your browser's local storage; these are not sent to us.

The iPhone app uses no cookies; the phone's session key is kept in the iPhone's Keychain.
